About City University London, Cass Business School

Cass Business School, which is part of City University London, delivers innovative, relevant and forward-looking education, training, consultancy and research.  Located in the heart of one of the world’s leading financial centres, Cass is the business school for the City of London.
When you take an MBA at Cass you join a diverse community of enthusiastic and focused professionals, taught by an international faculty in the heart of one of the most vibrant and well-connected cities in the world.
The Cass MBA prepares you for the realities of global business and management. It does so through a rigorous and inspiring blend of theory and practice to develop your ability to think critically.

Most challenging achievements and the future

It’s your MBA programme and we give you every opportunity to tailor its content through a wide choice of electives, a personal and professional development programme and one-to-one career coaching as well as the final Business Mastery Project.  Over the last few years we have significantly invested in our careers service and this investment is set to continue.

Our global approach to business is reinforced with international electives in countries including China, South Africa and the UAE.  Students also have the opportunity to tackle real-world projects with local businesses in emerging markets including Brazil and Poland.

Ethics already plays a key part in all Cass programmes and this is something we are working to further embed in our teaching practices as well as in the programmes themselves.
To our knowledge we are the only Business School that has taken on the ambitious task of reviewing all our curricula in light of the ethical issues relating to each of our teaching fields.

Differentiating factors

The Financial Times places Cass’s FT MBA fifth in the UK, 11th in Europe and 32nd in the world.  We are also one of only a few business schools worldwide to have achieved the triple accreditation from AMBA, AACSB and EQUIS.  We are ranked in the top 10 UK business schools for business, management and finance research and 90% of our research output is internationally significant.
The Cass MBA is truly diverse with 27 countries represented in the current FT cohort.  45% of the current cohort are women and the Cass MBA office has a strong representation of women in both academic and professional roles.  Female candidates cite flexibility as well as less tangible facets such as an atmosphere of dynamic collaboration rather than excessive competitiveness as reasons for coming to Cass.
Cass MBA graduates become part of an international Cass network with over 31,000 alumni worldwide and 40 overseas alumni groups.
